Review: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

One of my favorite parts to the fall is that I get to review Christmas books!  I love the novellas by some of my favorite authors, and I also enjoy the holiday devotion books!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is a count down to Christmas devotion book.  There are 31 daily devotions, but what sets this book apart is that it has some charming recipes, gift ideas, and more after each devotion.  So while the devotion reminds us the real meaning of the season, the additional goodies offer ideas of how to share the love of Jesus with our friends and family.  Along with the devotion and recipe, there is a Christmas hymn/poem/song as well.

I know the Christmas season can be a time of stress and frenzy and having a daily devotion to help us focus on what is really important.  I felt like the devotions were right on target, easy to read and pray through, as well as quick.  I have always been a fan of Christmas songs and I love to read through them as poetry.

This book would make a great Christmas gift for family or friends!  I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a great devotion book as the Christmas season descends upon us!

NOTE : I received a copy of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year at no cost.
