Book Review : The Memory House

The Memory House is my first novel by Rachel Hauck, but I guarantee it will not be my last!

I absolutely loved the Memory House! This story takes you on a journey into the life of Beck while diving deep into the past of Everleigh. Two stories are told through this book, one is current day with Beck, the other is a look back at Everleigh. The setting takes place in New York, Waco and Florida.

Sometimes it is hard to summarize the plot without giving too much away, and I definitely want you to read this book to fall in love with the characters and their tale, yourself. This story touches on infidelity (in the most amazing way I have ever read), the loss of a parent, parental relationships, long friendships, young love, and faithfulness.

There are so many real life issues addressed in this book that surely there is something that will connect with every reader that jumps into the story. Spanning over 50 years and several generations, The Memory House is a book that helps remind the reader who they are and at the same time reaffirms that our memories from the past are important and valuable to who we are today.

There were so many facets to this book, so many twists and unexpected turns, and I savored each and every one of them!

I fell in love with the characters immediately and felt connected from the start. For my first novel by Ms. Hauck, I am a complete fan and cannot wait to read anything by her!!

NOTE I received a copy of The Memory House in exchange for an honest review.
