Book review : Deadly Intentions

Lisa Harris has woven a wonderful novel together with just the right amount of romance, mystery, death and redemption!!

While romance novels are not my “go-to” genre, we all know a murder/mystery still holds together with a bit of romance sprinkled in!

From the first page I was hooked. Caitlyn works at a research facility and when several of her co-works meet with questionable and untimely deaths she starts to wonder. Eventually she seeks out the spouse of a friend who was a co-worker before she was killed during a break in at her house. Together with Josh, who is a detective for the local police department quickly realizes the threat to Caitlyn and maybe himself.

There are a number of twists and turns throughout the story and I really enjoyed following along. If you enjoy reading a book that will grab you and hold on to you, this is the one! Both Caitlyn and Josh have to deal personally with their own past, which is where the element of redemption comes in.

Lisa Harris always writes a great story with a fantastic message! I love her books and look forward to the next one.

NOTE : I received a copy of Deadly Intentions in exchange for an honest review, from Revell Publishers!
