2023 Beginner Beekeeping Class

We teach a full one day class in Malakoff to get you successfully started with beekeeping!

Our class includes both classroom instruction, handouts and 2-3 hours of hive inspections.  We teach everything from basic bee biology to pest management to honey extraction!  We start out in the classroom building your foundation for becoming a great beekeeper.  Then, after lunch we finish our classroom time and head to the bee yard where we will inspect an assortment of hives and give you hands on opportunities to get into a few hives.

When you purchase a seat through our store, we will contact you with more details.  You will need to bring a bee suit to wear during our afternoon hive inspections.  

 We will have Saturday classes available in January, February and April.  Class will be 8:30-4pm
